Day 01
Athens
Arrival in Athens, transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight Athens.

Day 02
Athens - City Tour
Full day Athens city tour including the Acropolis, the Parthenon, the Acropolis museum, the Agora, the Royal Palace, the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Metropolis, the Monastiraki and the National Library. Overnight in Athens. (B,L)

Day 03
Athens - Corinth - Mycenae
Epidarus – Athens Full day Argolis tour, including the Corinth Canal, Mycenae with the Lion Gate, the Cyclopean walls-the Royal Tombs and the Theater of Epidarus. Return to Athens by driving along the Sarenic Gulf for overnight. (B,L)

Day 04
Athens
Leisure day or optional "Full Day Boat Cruise to the islands of Aegean, Poros, and Hydra". Overnight in Athens. (B)

Day 05
Athens - Airport
Transfer to Athens airport for your departure. (B)

PAUL IN GREECE

5 Nights - 6 Days

TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 1
Arrive Athens. Meet at the airport with our representative. Enjoy an afternoon visit to the Acropolis and a panoramic bus tour of Athens. Check-in to hotel for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Day 2
Corinth - Athens
Short stop at Corinth Canal and then drive to ancient Corinth. On our way back to Athens stop at Acrocorinth. Return to Athens.. Afternoon and evening free. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Athens. (B,D)

Day 3
Athens - Delphi - Kalambaka
In the morning, drive to Delphi and visit the archaeological sites and museum. Then continue on to Kalambaka for check-in at hotel followed by dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Day 4
Meteora Monasteries - Thessaloniki for overnight.
In the morning, visit a monastery at Meteora, then drive to Vergina for a visit to the Royal Tombs; pass by Verea, and later in the afternoon arrive in Thessaloniki. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city to see the Egnatian Way, the Arch of Galerius, Rotunda, the White Tower, the Old city walls and the Byzantine churches of St. Sophia and St. Demetrius. Check-in at hotel for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Day 5
Philippi - Kavala
In the morning we drive on our way to Philippi by the Lion statue of Amphipolis (short stop for photos). Afterwards we continue to Philippi, the site where the apostle Paul came and worked, establishing a strong church. To this congregation, later he sent his Philippian letter. Of all the churches Paul founded, probably none was as near and dear to him as the church at Philippi (Acts16:9-33). We see the river where Lydia is thought to have been baptized, the ruins of a prison where traditionally is said that Paul and Sylas had been kept: the Agora, 5th and 6th century Basilica and the Theater. Philippi was named after Philip II, king of Macedonia father of Alexander the Great. The Roman road Via Egnatia crossed this city and ran from Rome to Byzantium. After the visit, we continue to Kavala, the ancient port of Neapolis (Acts 16:11). Late that afternoon we arrive at Kavala for dinner and overnight at hotel. (B,D)

Morning departure transfer to airport.
