AVOID
THE CROWDS: If you plan to visit Turkey via Cruise Ship,
we strongly recommend you to book one of our “Private” shore
excursions. The tour rates below are based on private
services yet, the prices are more competitive comparing with
the tour prices you are offered on the ship. Additionally,
you will avoid the crowds and enjoy our flexible itinerary
with a private professional tour guide. Your tour guide will
meet you at Istanbul or Kusadasi port, at the time you
request, with a sign your name on it
KUSADASI (Ephesus)
What To Know: The site of Ephesus has two main gates.
Using the upper gate, located along the road to the House of
the Virgin Mary, is recommended. A brief visit to Ephesus
requires about an hour and a half of walking in open air, so
it is recommended to dress according to the season. Inside
the ruins, there are no restrooms, or water stands. Visitors
to Ephesus should take the advantage of the facilities
located at the main entry gates. Taking pictures and usage
of the cameras are permitted, but using a tripod requires a
special permission that can be arranged through the
Archaeological Museum in Selçuk.
ISTANBUL
What To Know: Some museums/sites in Istanbul are closed
on certain days. For example, Covered Bazaar is closed on
Sundays, Topkapi Palace and St. Chora Church are closed on
Tuesdays. St. Sophia Church is closed on Mondays. If a
museum, which is in your program is closed, we will make you
the best possible suggestion to fulfill your sightseeing
itinerary. Or, if you have two full days in Istanbul, we
will visit it on the other day.
SHOPPING is available at the end of each tour, before
returning to the ship. Shopping in a foreign country is a
fabulous and rewarding experience, and we have taken the
steps to guarantee that your shopping experience is also
enjoyable and risk-free. |
