TOUR ITINERARY:
Day 01
Arrival
Arrival at Ben-Gurion airport; meeting and assistance by our
representative, and transfer to Tel-Aviv for overnight.
Dinner at leisure.
Day 02
Tel-Aviv - Beersheba - Arad - Massada
Leave Tel-Aviv-via Ashdod-Ashkelon-Beersheba. A short visit
to the Negev capital. Continue via Arad to Massada. Ascend
the fortress which was the last stronghold of the Jewish
Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the
excavations, Herod’s palaces, the synagogue, bath house,
etc., overlooking the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. Proceed
to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 03
Jerusalem - Sightseeing of New City
Drive to Mt. Scopus for a view of the reunited Jerusalem.
Drive to Mt. Zion for a visit to the tomb of King David.
Sightseeing in the New City including the Israel Museum’s
Shrine of the Book with its famous Dead Sea Scrolls, the new
Knesset Building (Parliament), the Hebrew University campus,
Mt. Herzl and Yad Vashem (the memorial to the six million
Jews who were killed in the Holocaust). Then visit the model
of the Herodian city of Jerusalem dating back to the time of
the Second Temple. Continue to the Hadassah Medical center
for a short visit to the Synagogue with its Mark Chagall
stained glass windows. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 04
Jerusalem Old City - Bethlehem
Walk through the Jaffa Gate to the Old City: the renewed
Jewish Quarter; the Western Wall; the Temple area; the Dome
of the Rock; the colorful bazaars; Via Dolorosa; and the
Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Continue to Bethlehem to visit
Rachel’s tomb and the Church of the Nativity and return to
Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 05
Jericho - Tiberias - Galilee
Leave Jerusalem, driving via Hisham’s Palace. Continue north
via the Jordan Valley and the new settlements, then via the
Jezreel Valley. Continue to Tiberias, the old center of
Jewish learning. Drive along the shores of the Sea of
Galilee to Capernaun to visit the ruins of the ancient
synagogue. Continue to a kibbutz hotel for dinner and
overnight.
Day 06
Upper Galilee and Golan Heights - Nazareth
Drive to the Golan Heights. Visit the Syrian fortifications,
Birkat Ram, and the Druze villages. On to Banias, source of
the Jordan River. Proceed via Kiryat Shmona and the Hula
Valley to Safed, city of the kabbalah, to visit the old
synagogues and artist’s colony and then to Nazareth to visit
the Christian holy sites. Return to the Kibbutz for
dinner and overnight.
Day 07
Acre - Haifa - Tel-Aviv - Jaffa
Leave the kibbutz for Acre to visit the old, famous Crusader
stronghold and medieval fortifications. Continue to Haifa,
for a sightseeing tour of Haifa, including the Bahai Shrine,
Persian Garden and Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the
city. Proceed southwards to Caesarea to visit the Roman
theater and the Crusader fortress. Via Netanya to Tel-Aviv,
drive through the main street-Ben Tehuda St., and Dizengoff
St., pass by the Habimah National Theater, Mann Auditorium,
then along Rothschild Blvd. Continue to Jaffa for a view of
the old port, and artist’s quarter. Dinner and overnight
Tel-Aviv.
Day 08
Depart - Tel-Aviv
Transfer to airport. End of our services.

TOUR ITINERARY:
Day 01
Arrival

Day 02
New City of Jerusalem - Mount Zion - Bethlehem
Drive via Mount Scopus to the Mount of Olives to enjoy a
magnificent view of Jerusalem. Continue to the Garden of
Gethsemane and visit the Basilica of the Agony. Proceed to
the New City of Jerusalem. Visit the Israel Museum’s Shrine
of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed. On to
Yad Vashem, the memorial to the six million Jewish victims
of the Holocaust. The last stop is Ein Karem. Visit the
Church of St. John the Baptist and the Basilica of the
Visitation. Dinner and overnight Jerusalem.
Day 03
Old City of Jerusalem - Mount Zion - Bethlehem
Drive to the Old City for a walking tour to the Western
Wall, the Temple Area, the Dome of the Rock, the colorful
bazaars, Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
On to Mount Zion to see David’s Tomb, the room of the Last
Supper and Dormition Abbey. Afternoon tour of Bethlehem.
Visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds’ Field.
Dinner and overnight Jerusalem.
